Youth for Life, a pro-life site
for young people, is one of many youth civic websites that encourage philanthropy among
youth by teaching them about fundraising. Youth for Life offers its local affiliates a
whole chapter of fundraising information.
It includes 18 suggestions for fundraising activities and a range of
sources for donations (ranging from other pro-life groups, to direct mail, to dues).
Providing this kind of information and instruction can bolster the confidence of
young people reticent about undertaking this sometimes intimidating but fundamental
civic skill.
