Staff Bios
Nina Keim
Nina received her Master’s degree in Public Communication at American University in 2009. In the scope of her graduate research she analyzed how opinion leaders can be actively integrated to increase civic engagement and civic participation. Her thesis “Leveraging Opinion Leaders: Increasing the Social Impact of Social Documentaries” won the Best Graduate Capstone Project Prize awarded by the Public Communication Division of AU’s School of Communication. Before moving to Washington, DC, Nina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Communication and Media Science from the University of Duisburg, Germany and published articles in the German political magazine politik&kommunikation. She also produces podcasts for PR on Air, a German podcast for communication manager.
