Kate Schuler
Kate is a graduate student in the MFA program in Film and Electronic Media in the School of Communication. Before pursuing documentary film at AU, Kate most recently worked as a journalist, covering health care and social policy on Capitol Hill and producing the foreign news coverage for washingtonpost.com. After graduating from Yale with a BA in Humanities, she lived in Asia for several years and worked on US-China military exchange programs at Harvard University before moving back down to her hometown of Washington, DC.
